| PE-Series amplifier
firmware is supported by flash making the device capable of field upgrades
using Ashly Audio’s Proteane Software. Reprogramming is
simple and takes only minutes. Firmware is available for both the standard amplifier input card and the optional DSP input cards. When new firmware is released, so is Proteane Software. Be sure to update your Protea System Software with the latest version before installing the firmware. When you install the latest firmware, all previous firmware updates are also installed. Please review the firmware notes at the bottom of this page for reference. Programming Note: Due to the inherent instability of wireless networks, we recommended that a wired connection be used when flash updating. Reprogramming will work with wireless networks, but just to be safe, use a wired connection. |
