1.7 Firmware Notes:
Protea System Software version 6.17 is required.
A new ducker setting has been added named ‘Filibuster’. This
setting allows multiple inputs to share ‘High’ priority. All
inputs set to "Filibuster" will work as follows:
1. When one of the Filibuster input’s is active (exceeds threshold),
it has control.
2. While the input is active, no other Filibuster input can turn on.
3. When the Filibuster input is released (falls below threshold), the other
Filibuster inputs are free to turn on as needed.
4. There is a fixed, 0.5 second release time for the Filibuster input. 5.
An input with "High" ducker priority is the only thing that will
override an active Filibuster input.
1.6 Firmware Notes
Allows Parametric EQ filters to cut/notch up to 30dB. (Previous firmware
revisions limited PEQ levels to the +/-15dB range.) Note: Protea System
Software version 6.1.6 or higher is required. Another Note: No backup of
the 24.24M's presets is required.
1.5 Firmware Notes
Allows any combination of input and output channels to be assigned to each
of the eight, back-panel Remote Level Control pins, enabling stereo or zone
volume control from the WR-1 remote. Channel assignments may be programmed
by Protea System Software, in the 24.24M Options menu. Note: Protea System
Software version 6.1.4 or higher is required.
1.4 Firmware Notes
Adds push/release preset scroll compatibility for the WR-3.
Adds Mixer Fader Mute/Unmute message, for easy source/routing selection
via third party control systems.
Adds Gain Increment/Decrement Message, for easy relative gain adjustment
via third party control systems.
1.3 Firmware Notes:
Version 1.3 firmware adds WR-3 functionality & enhanced auto-leveler
features. You must have Protea System Software version 6.13 or higher installed
for this firmware to operate properly. Please note that the internal preset
structure is incompatible with all previous releases. This applies to all
24.24M's with serial numbers less than 600-00120. You must backup all presets
that you want to retain. You will NOT be able to use the Preset Dump function
to do this.
To save your presets: First, back up each of your presets individually,
using 'Recall Preset From Protea' Next, 'Save Preset To Disk'. Repeat as
needed. Now, install the firmware & software. Perform a Factory Reset
(press and hold the recessed switch on the back panel during power up. The
recessed switch is between the AC inlet and the RS-232 switch.)
After you have installed the new firmware/software and reset the 24.24M,
the presets may be restored using 'Recall Preset From Disk' followed by
'Save Preset To Protea'. Repeat as needed. |
