WR-5

Remote control your system from any location. These devices fit in standard wall boxes and accept low gauge wire for hook-up, such as Cat5 type wire. They are available in white and can be covered with a standard decora plate (not included). Labels for these devices can be made with a template (see above-right). WR-1e, WR-2e, and WR-5e versions are available to fit standard european wall boxes.

neWR-5
The neWR-5 is a programmable Ethernet based remote control unit for Ashly NE Series and Pêma products. Connecting and powering the neWR-5 is done using standard Cat-5 Ethernet cable and an IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch or inline injector (purchased separately), or a 15-48VDC power supply can be hardwired directly to each unit. A hardwired Lock-Out feature on the neWR-5 will render all buttons inactive. The neWR-5 has six programmable function buttons with dual-color illumination, Up/Down buttons for volume control, preset selection, etc., and a two-character display. Each of the six buttons can be programmed to engage one of the following functions: Preset Recall, Preset Scroll, Gain Control, Channel Mute, and Zone Source Selection. Additional functions are available for some controlled products, such as: Logic Output activation, Matrix Mixer control, etc. The neWR-5 will simplify integration with self-configuring IP-based technology and the flexibility of network wiring.

WR-1
The WR-1 is an assignable, dual potentiometer remote volume control. Each volume control is connected to a euroblock jack terminal on the WR-1 circuit board, which in turn must be wired to the back panel euroblock connector labeled "0 - 5 Volt Remote Level Control", available on many Ashly amplifier and DSP products. By connecting a volume control to a specific pin, the WR-1 can control the level of the associated input or output channel. For some controlled products, it is possible to assign any combination of input and/or output channels to any remote level control pin, using Protea NE Software. The level control is "attenuate only" meaning that the maximum setting of the control potentiometer (fully clockwise) results in 0 dB gain of the controlled channel.

WR-2
The WR-2 allows selection of one of four presets via interlocking pushbutton switches. Each pushbutton switch connects to a euroblock on the rear of the controlled product (labeled "Preset Recall"). The terminal numbers correspond to Preset Memory locations in the controlled product, starting at Preset 1. Pressing a button will select the corresponding preset number.

WR-5
The WR-5 is a serial remote control unit for use with NE Series and Pêma products. Connections are standard euroblock-type. Up to four WR-5’s can be daisy-chained and powered by the controlled product. More than four WR-5's may be added to the system with the use of a separate, outboard power supply or the Ashly RPS-18 Inline Power Booster. The WR-5 has six programmable function buttons, each with an LED, Up/Down buttons for volume control, preset selection, etc., and a two-character display. Each of the six buttons can be programmed to engage one of the following functions: Preset Recall, Preset Scroll, Gain Control, Channel Mute, and Zone Source Selection. Additional functions are available for some controlled products, such as: Logic Output activation, Matrix Mixer control, etc.
